IRONMAN World
Championship 70.3
November 14, 2009
In the history of the Ironman 70.3 only
9 woman in the world in the 50-54 age
group have broken the 5 hour barrier.
Our teammate Stephanie raced to a
4:57 and a 5th place finish in the
Ironman 70.3 World Championships in
Clearwater, Florida! Her splits were 34
minute swim, 2:22 bike and a 1:54 run.
Tyler and Ashley also raced well and
both cracked the top 10 in their very
competitve 25-29 age group. Tyler
posted a 4:09 ( 29, 2:09, 1:24) for 10th
place and Ashley a 4:22 ( 32, 2:14, 1:30,
+ a 5 minute flat tire) for 9th place. It
was great to see Ashley's parents and
Tyler's parents in attendence, coming
in from Kansas City and Dallas
respectively. Fast bike times! Fast
everything. Great weather, low winds,
and super elite competition equals fast
times. Click Here for results.
