Colleen
Klaudinyi
Colleen's passion for competition began at the age of 10 when
she entered her first swim meet and from then on she was
hooked. An interest that began in the summer leagues led to a
lifetime of dedication to sport and athleticism. She raced her first
triathlon in 1982, and as owner of Athletic Attic running store,
she was a race participant and organizer for the next 10 years.
By 1992 she became a serious age-group competitor in the
South Midwest Region winning numerous division and overall
titles.
Goals for 2010 are to continue to improve in all segments of
triathlon. She will compete in 6 - 8 regional races, try to qualify
for the Sprint Nationals and earn USAT All-American ranking.
Additionally, she is looking forward to strong performances at
several area bike rally's.
Colleen leads weekly indoor cycling classes at LA Fitness and
coaches the Masters Swim group at the JCC Dallas throughout
the season.
