Tiffany McGinn

Tiffany was born in Waco, Texas and shortly after moved to Steamboat Springs, CO. Growing up she participated in multiple sports, and would watch any sport on TV. She had seen the Ironman World Championships a few times, but never in a million years did she think she would one day be a tri-athlete. After high school she attended Abilene Christian University, majoring in accounting and finance. While in her senior year, her triathlon interest was sparked when a neighbor began training for her first triathlon. In the fall of ’06 Tiffany began training with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and completed her first Olympic distance race in the spring of ’07. She’s been hooked ever since, competing in sprint to half-ironman distance races throughout the ’08 season. She looks forward to training hard, improving her swim and competing in her first Ironman race in ‘09. Tiffany is excited to be a part of Team Loncar and thankful to her friends and family for their support and encouragement. Without them and the abilities God has blessed her with, she would not be where she is today.
