Lisa hails from the great state of Colorado but considers herself a Texan after growing up in Fort Worth and attending UNT in Denton. Wanting to participate in a 350 mile bike ride 10 years ago for an uncle & friend, she bought a bike and caught the bug. She soon began participating in sprint tris and has set a goal of the New Orleans 70.3 this spring.

Lisa is the VP of Interactive for a New York-based media company which takes her places far & wide. When she is not traveling for work, she is traveling for pleasure, and when she is not doing that or training for the Half, she is painting, practicing her Espanol, writing, and running for Precinct Chair in Collin County. She wishes there were more hours in her day.
