Kory Sessions
Korey Sessions was born in
Jacksboro, Texas and moved
to Irving to go to school. He
was born in 1987 and raised in
a very athletic/heath conscious
environment; his father was a
competitive runner. He ran
cross country and a few 5k's in
middle school but decided to
focus on golf throughout high
school. He started running
again when he went college
and entered some 5k's,
winning his age group in them
all.
He had always been fascinated by
triathlons and a friend
encouraged him to try one. After
completing a very painful and
humbling race, he knew this was
something he would continue to
do. In 2008 Korey competed in 5
triathlons: 2 top 10 overall
finishes, placing in his age group
each time and winning his age
group at Stonebridge.
Korey is very excited to be on the
Brian Loncar Racing Team and
plans to begin competing in
Olympic distance races and
70.3’s.
