David Stacy

David was born in Garland, Texas but primarily was raised in
southern California. After graduating from Texas A&M in 1986,
David and his wife, Kathi, moved to Dallas where they have
resided for the last fourteen years. They have two “absolutely
wonderful” children, Madison, aged ten, and William, aged
thirteen. David is a consultant with Technology Partners
International and specializes in helping clients with large
outsourcing contracts, e.g. ITO and BPO. He typically travels
during the week and has to find creative ways to train for
triathlons.
In David's senior year, his high school Brownwood, TX won the
Texas 4A state championship in football. After high school, David
stuck primarily to soccer until he tore his knee cartilage at age
37. Following that he focused on endurance sports, which led to
triathlons. Three years ago, he completed three sprint triathlons
and two years ago he finished three sprints and one Olympic
distance. Due to a separated shoulder last year, David was
unable to swim and, thus, compete in triathlons. Since then, he
did complete his first century, the Hotter -n- Hell in Wichita
Falls...and it was hot! This year David plans on competing in six
to eight triathlons.
