Texas Man was fun and Team spirit was at an all-time high! You could not ride more than a ½ a mile without seeing a Loncar teammate either passing you or flying by on the other side of the road. That was cool. We had more than 30 teammates participate including three first-timers, Willy, Justin and Lisa. Huge props to injured Dave Stacy for coming out and shooting pics! Also thanks to Guy. And always a great job by Lael in posting all this stuff. In headline news, Ashley and Tyler outran the entire Olympic fields to take overall man and overall female. Mr. Johnson going 1 hour 56, Mrs. Johnson 10 minutes back! Tops in their AG’s were Alma 1st by 11 minutes, and Mudgett 1st by 4 minutes. Also pulling top 3’s age group awards in the Olympic were Tiffany 2nd place, Becca 2nd, Ramsey 3rd despite a 5 minute T2 and someone moving his running shoes. In the most improved category, in the sprint course Zach came 1st in his age group by 6 minutes! Ann steamrolled the competition taking first place by 22 minutes! Chris Lane won 60-64, with Willy coming third. Also, Korey was 7th overall and 2nd in age and first Loncar finisher in the sprint, smoking a 1:20. Just behind Korey was Abby our top Loncar female (11th overall) 2nd in her AG with a 1:23. Awesome Race! Awesome job! Awesome turnout! For Sprint distance results click here.
